My name is Aaron Tielemans and I am a sophomore in the Elliott School of International Affairs. I’m currently concentrating on conflict resolution and am working towards a minor in psychology.
A bit about me, I am a huge superhero nerd. So you know where my allegiances lie, I’m 100% Team Iron Man and Batman totally won in Batman V Superman. I also love food and make sure to take plenty of adventures to new restaurants around the city.
At GW, you can usually find me hanging around the UHP Townhouse – it is BY FAR one of the warmest and friendliest places to relax on campus between classes. Pleasant conversation (sometimes with professors who stop by) is guaranteed and there’s always the chance that some snacks are offered! You may also see me giving tours around campus or at many of the UHP’s awesome events!
This summer, I’m very excited to be interning with a great non-profit organization in D.C. with a fellow peer advisor. I’m looking forward to doing research and raising awareness about human rights, as well as spending the 4th of July watching fireworks on the National Mall.
As a peer advisor, I’m really happy to talk about anything. I know the GW’s resources and the Elliott school well, so I’m always prepared to point someone in the right direction. On a less academic, but equally important note, I love talking through stressors and how to best manage stress.
