Hi! I’m Brianna Borghi, a sophomore in the School of Media and Public Affairs majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication and minoring in Theatre. I’m from Dover, Massachusetts, a very small town outside of Boston, and I couldn’t wait to leave to attend school in DC. I spend my summers on Cape Cod, where I hostess and waitress at a restaurant on the beach, so it really doesn’t feel like work.
Here at GW, I am a Columbian College Senator on the Student Life Committee of the Student Association and am a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. I love exploring new restaurants in DC, de-stressing with long walks (not runs) around the monuments, and visiting the White House for events like the annual Easter Egg Roll and Garden Tours. I’m also a huge proponent of studying at the Library of Congress, because really, why not. I’m always up for venturing off campus, and will never turn down a Georgetown shopping trip.
My GW experience has been influentially shaped by the UHP, which gave me my best friends (and walking buddies), and I am so glad I get to be a part of such a focused and driven community here at GW. Also Mary and Catherine rock and I couldn’t imagine my GW experience without them!
